Before that, it was restored to perfect condition.
British studio Aubrey Automobiles showed its first completed project – the restoration of the 1973 Land Rover Series III 109. More than 1000 hours were spent on it, the work took 8 months. But the car was not just restored, it was finalized.
The frame is now galvanized, a new engine (petrol 2.25 liters), gearbox, brakes and suspension are installed. The steering wheel was moved to the left side and supplemented with electric power.
The car acquired even wider possibilities for transforming the body than it was originally. The removable roof has been retained, but there is now also a removable roll cage. In total there are 8 body configurations: you can remove the top of the doors, fold the windshield and so on.
The interior is trimmed with leather and wood, ports for charging electronics, a multimedia system with a touch screen and Apple CarPlay support.“Driving” can be read in Viber
