According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, four Shahed-136/131 drones were also shot down, and 8 Kh-31P and Kh-59 guided air missiles did not reach their targets.
On the night of March 9, during a massive shelling of Ukrainian cities, Russian troops fired on critical infrastructure facilities, among other things. There were 81 missile launches in total. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny in the Telegram channel.
In total, there were 81 launches of missiles of various bases:
28 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles; 20 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles; 6 X-22 air-launched cruise missiles; 6 Kh-47 Kinzhal air-launched cruise missiles; 8 guided air missiles: 2 – X-31P; 6 – X-59; 13 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles. In addition, there were also 8 launches of the Shahed-136/131 UAV.
The Ukrainian Air Force, together with other units, destroyed 48 X-101/X-555 and Caliber cruise missiles:
34 cruise missiles; 4 Shahed-136/131 drones; 8 Kh-31P and Kh-59 guided missiles did not reach their targets.
Recall that the Russian Armed Forces attacked three thermal power plants during a massive shelling of Ukraine on March 9. Significant damage was caused to the substation equipment, after the end of the air raid, the power engineers began to eliminate the consequences.
Earlier, Focus reported that during the shelling of the Lviv region, rockets hit residential buildings – as a result, four people were killed. In the Zolochevsky district, Russian shells destroyed two private houses in which there were people. Search and rescue operations are underway, as people can remain under the rubble.
