For the first time, we installed the eight-valve engine 11182 on Lada Largus – this is a rather heavy car. And there the engine proved to be very good! It has great low end traction. And from the point of view of acceleration dynamics, the 8-valve Largus turned out to be very interesting, ”Oleg Grunenkov told Quto.
He suggested comparing the acceleration characteristics of the Largus versions with a 16-valve engine and an 8-valve one. In the first case, it accelerates to “hundreds” in 13.5 seconds, in the second – in 14 seconds. Top speed is also slightly different: 170 km/h versus 160 km/h.
