“In Russia itself, there are a lot of manifestations of the war. You saw these explosions, something is flying. They are learning to use bomb shelters, they periodically sound sirens, they close Pulkovo, the civil airport of St. Petersburg,” Mikhail Podolyak said.
According to him, the feeling that the war is happening on the territory of Russia, causes fear in people. The official believes that due to the inability to combine it with the fear of law enforcement agencies, Russians develop “internal schizophrenia.” In addition to going out to protest, the citizens of the aggressor country are afraid of the government drawing them into the war, Podolyak said.
