The Ministry of Reintegration, subject to the procedure, will grant the right to relatives of a prisoner of war the right to state assistance in the amount of 100,000 hryvnias.
The Ministry of Reintegration explained how to receive funds from the state if a family representative is in Russian captivity. The corresponding certificate gives the right to 100 thousand hryvnia. On the website of the department on March 8, relevant information was published.
The instruction provides a specific list of documentation. Relatives must provide them to the Commission to establish the fact of deprivation of personal freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine.
In the event that the details of the stay of a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in captivity are established, his family is entitled to receive an amount of 100,000 hryvnias. Relatives have the right to apply. To do this, the prisoner’s relatives need to either personally come to law enforcement agencies or call the hotline at 1648 or +38 (044) 287-81-65.
The corresponding procedure was approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. It specifies the details of the procedure for issuing certificates of the stay of persons in places of captivity as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine or internment in neutral states. The government recently approved changes to this regulation. As a result, the procedure for issuing certificates was simplified.
