Journalist Kochmar-Tymoshenko found the sister of the deceased, but did not reveal her identity. The family of the Ukrainian military asked for “silence”. According to journalist Krutchak, Timofey Shadura may be the killed fighter.
The Ukrainian captive soldier, who managed to say “Glory to Ukraine” before his execution, was identified by his sister. Local BBC producer and journalist Sofia Kochmar-Tymoshenko wrote about this on Facebook on the night of March 7.
According to the journalist, she found the sister of a military man who is being shot on video.
“Sister says -” 100 percent – this is my brother. These are his eyes, voice and the way he smoked a cigarette,” Kochmar-Tymoshenko said.
At the same time, the journalist did not disclose her identity.
As Kochmar-Tymoshenko noted, the woman asked to wait until the brothers of the fighter from the front got in touch. The sister also said that she wants to be with her mother in the morning to support her.
Later, the BBC producer made another publication in which she explained that the family of the deceased was asking for “silence”.
“Six family members are sure that this is their brother and son. I was already on the way to them, but my sister says: “Mom is very sick, please be quiet!” Kochmar-Tymoshenko wrote.
At the same time, journalist Vasily Krutchak wrote on Facebook that Timofei Shadura could be the killed soldier.
“I just spoke on the phone with Timofey’s sister, Olga. She said that she was 90% sure that the man who was shot was her brother,” he specified.
The shooting of a soldier who said “Glory to Ukraine!”
On March 6, blogger and volunteer Serhiy Sternenko posted a video on his Twitter showing how the Russians shot a Ukrainian military man who had previously said “Glory to Ukraine.”
Where and when the video was filmed is still unknown.
The Office of the President promised to find out who participated in the execution of the Ukrainian and punish the Russians for another war crime.
“War crimes are cultivated in Russia. And they are whitewashed by their propaganda and myths about ‘Nazis’. The murder of a captured person is another example of this,” Andrey Yermak, the head of the OP, wrote on his social networks.
Recall that the Slava Ukraini hashtag topped global Twitter trends. In less than a day, more than 87,000 tweets dedicated to the Ukrainian prisoner of war, whom the Russian invaders shot after his words “Glory to Ukraine”, were published on the social network.
