Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that six Ukrainians went abroad as artists and did not return. The official supports amendments to the legislation that will complicate the conditions for leaving for men.
At the next meeting of the Headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief, they will discuss the permission of men to travel abroad. Ministers will prepare reports to consider this issue, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said on the air of the telethon.
“At the meeting of the Headquarters, which will be convened in the near future on behalf of the president, the question – who, how much, what departments gave permission – will be on the agenda,” Danilov said.
According to the official, Ukrainians do not respect the laws and do not return from business trips abroad. Danilov reported six such cases.
“Unfortunately, not everyone understands that when the state gives the opportunity to travel abroad, you must definitely return. We had an unfortunate example when the Ministry of Culture granted permission in December – six people went to represent the country as artists. Unfortunately, they did not return to Ukraine,” the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council said.

Danilov himself supports changes in legislation that will complicate the conditions for leaving Ukraine for men of military age. According to him, we are talking about justice here, because everyone should help the country in any way they can. In this context, the official referred to the recent incident with the Ukrainian comedian.
“Everyone should make efforts for our victory. Can’t fight? Please work, pay taxes. Can’t work? Help as much as you can. But disgracing the country like this is not allowed for anyone,” the official said.
Stand-up comedian Andriy Shchegel Danilov predicted performances “in a different place” upon his return to Ukraine.
Recall that comedian Andrei Shchegel said in an interview that he left for Turkey with the permission of the ICIP and does not plan to return. He also admitted that he received three subpoenas. “It’s the guys’ choice to die,” Shchegel said. The Ministry of Culture called the comedian’s actions “unacceptable.”
Schegel later commented on the scandal around his statements. He said that Ukraine has no chance for a civilized life, and called Ukrainians the biggest motivation not to return home.
However, then the stand-up artist published a video with an apology, where he accused journalists of taking his phrases out of context.
