Avtotor plans to start selling Kaiyi E5 sedans in March.
But, as it became known, the Kaliningrad automobile plant does not intend to limit itself to passenger transport only: the plans include the production of small trucks and light commercial vehicles.
Everyone has probably heard that Avtotor has restarted production and will increase it. In January, they launched a line for the production of Chinese Kaiyi cars. In the future, projects for the production of light commercial vehicles, small trucks, including electric vehicles,” said Anton Alikhanov, head of the region.

The governor recalled that Avtotor had already invested more than two billion rubles in a production site for assembling electric vehicles of its own production.
