The Hongqi brand traditionally makes cars for top officials in China.
For the movement of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during an official visit to China, the meeting party gave him a Hongqi L5 car.
The sedan has been produced in small series since 2014. There are two engine options: a supercharged V8 and a naturally aspirated V12. The gearbox is both there and there automatic, and the drive is all-wheel drive.
Hongqi is part of the FAW concern and traditionally produces cars for the top leadership of the Communist Party of China. The L5 sedan is currently out of stock, but it used to be available for up to a million dollars. However, there are other models in the company’s range that anyone can already buy.
