Wrestling legend Ric Flair will be the face of the new line.
The legendary American boxer and world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, having retired from the sport, decided to go into a much calmer and more profitable business by opening a cannabis company Tyson 2.0 in 2021 as part of a partnership with medical company Columbia Care. According to the Mirror, an athlete who has smoked weed all his life is introducing a new product – cannabis to combat erectile dysfunction. This problem affects 52% of men, which is why Tyson’s brand and Ric Flair Drip, Flair’s cannabis line, have announced they are joining forces under a new parent company called Carma Holdings LLC. (“Karma”).
The face of the new product will be the famous wrestler Ric Flair, who, like Mike, loves to smoke. In an interview on Busted Open Radio, Flair admitted that he had little knowledge of the possible medical benefits of cannabis, but explained his excitement about his new role.
“As far as going and lecturing and talking about it, no. I’m not that knowledgeable. There’s a lot to learn about cannabis. They’ll have cannabis for erectile dysfunction and guess who’s going to be the face of it? Whoo!” – said the athlete.

To date, scientists have not found a link between cannabis smoking and the treatment of impotence, but it is possible that we can talk about cannabidiol (CBD), one of the chemical compounds in marijuana. It is rumored to improve mood and sleep, and is also claimed to help stimulate blood flow when used as a lubricating oil. But, as with cannabis, there is no direct evidence yet that CBD works on erectile dysfunction.
For the first time, Mike Tyson announced his desire to seriously engage in cannabis production back in 2018, at the same time he opened a marijuana farm, calling it “Tyson’s Ranch”. The opening was held with pathos, and even the governor of California himself was present.
In his memoirs, the boxer admitted that he smoked cannabis before really important fights.
Tyson is not the only celebrity to launch a cannabis line. In 2016, the legendary musician Bob Marley’s family also began producing cannabis under the Marley Natural brand. In 2019, actor and comedian Seth Rogen founded his cannabis company Houseplant, and rapper and Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z did the same in 2020, creating the Monogram marijuana line in 2020.
