She spent five hours under the rubble of her house, which she herself reported. I hugged the cat and took a photo on my mobile phone. Later she wrote that March 2 is her second birthday.
“Rescuer Pavel, you are my angel, you heard and dug me up, calmed me down and brought me out. You are a man with a capital letter,” the girl turned to the worker of the State Emergency Service.
Ekaterina’s friend said that she miraculously survived under the rubble. However, the girls are looking for two more red cats. One was waiting for rescue for 5 hours together with a resident of Zaporozhye, but two more could not be found.
“If you saw cats, two redheads from a destroyed house in Zaporozhye (there is a phone number on the collar), call at any time,” Ekaterina asked.
A friend of the survivor said that she is now alone in the city. Ekaterina’s parents are in Bryansk. However, friends waited until late at night for the girl’s rescue and help in distributing the fundraiser for her.
Recall that on the night of March 2, secretary of the Zaporozhye city council Anatoly Kurtev announced the missile attack on Zaporozhye. The Zaporizhzhia District Police Department noted that an S-300 rocket hit the city’s high-rise building. The shell destroyed three floors of the house.
On the morning of March 2, the Attorney General’s Office reported four dead, eight injured and five missing. They were looking for a child under the rubble.
The operational command “South” explained that the enemy had changed tactics. The occupiers first used aircraft for shelling, and the second wave launched rockets from the ground – from the occupied territory of the Zaporozhye region.
