According to the US Secretary of State, the version of Beijing’s involvement in the creation of the coronavirus in the laboratory needs to be clarified on many points.
The version with a laboratory leak of COVID-19 in China is real, but not final. About it declared US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in an interview with India Today.
“We cannot say with certainty in favor of one or another option. The likelihood that COVID-19 was created in a laboratory is obvious and very real, but it is not definitive,” Blinken said.
The US Secretary of State added that, based on intensive research, a number of US agencies claim that the coronavirus was the result of a laboratory leak in Wuhan.
However, there is a version that COVID-19 was not created artificially, but its source was somewhere in the animal market in Wuhan.
Blinken stressed that the issue of the emergence and spread of the coronavirus should be considered separately from whether any of the countries deliberately sought to spread it and provoke a pandemic.
Recall that at the end of February in the United States, the probable causes of the appearance of Covid-19 were named. The FBI said the pandemic was likely the result of a lab leak. FBI employees in their conclusions relied on data from a whole staff of microbiologists, immunologists, and also enjoyed the support of the National Center for Forensic Biological Analysis.
Focus also wrote that in the fall of 2022, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine allowed the targeted use of Russian chemical weapons in Ukraine. According to Ukrainian intelligence, at that time, units of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the RF Armed Forces were operating at the front. However, the mass transportation of ammunition with toxic substances was not recorded at that time.
