Oat cookies
Ingredients:
Oatmeal – one glass; Flour – one glass; Vegetable oil – 5 tbsp. l.; Honey – 3 tbsp. l.; Water – 50 ml; Ground cinnamon – half a teaspoon; Ground nutmeg – half a teaspoon; Baking soda – half a teaspoon; A pinch of salt.
First you need to prepare all the ingredients. Oatmeal is better to take quick cooking, they are better baked. But ordinary ones are also suitable – then the cookies will come out more crispy. Honey is better to take liquid, and vegetable oil is odorless.
Pour water and oil into a saucepan, add honey and heat the contents of the saucepan until the honey dissolves. Add cinnamon, soda and nutmeg. The mixture should heat up well, but not boil. As soon as foam appears, remove the saucepan from the heat.
Put the oatmeal in a bowl and pour the heated mixture into them. If you are using regular cereal, let it sit for five minutes to soften.
Add flour in portions, salt and mix. Knead the dough. It should be soft but firm.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment and lay out the cookies. It is better to do it this way: form balls, put on a baking sheet and press down on top, leaving a distance between them.
The cookies will bake for about half an hour. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cake cool down.
You can add any nuts and dried fruits to such a liver, you can also add a mashed banana, but then you need to reduce the amount of flour.
