The Gothic star and James Bond girl don’t eat breakfast and go to bed early.
56-year-old actress Halle Berry looks amazing and often posts photos of her workouts on Instagram. She often takes to the red carpet in luxurious open dresses. And finally, she told Marie Claire what makes her body and skin happy and healthy, as well as what daily routine she follows to stay in shape.
When you think of beauty icons, Halle Berry should be at the top of your list. Decade after decade, the 56-year-old actress has defied the aging process.

And this despite the fact that she has practically no break in filming, because even now she is busy with two Netflix projects at once: the sci-fi film Mother Earth and the thriller Our Jersey Man.
In addition, the actress suffers from type 1 diabetes, which she was diagnosed with in 1989. She fell into a coma while filming the series Living Dolls.
In a short interview, the actress spoke about her daily routine and diet. In the morning she gets up at six in the morning and takes vitamins (ADK), fish oil and collagen in coffee. She then takes the probiotics she needs due to her illness.
“I run to school in the morning. I have two kids, so I usually get up early to take one of them to school. It’s a very important part of my morning. And then I come home and do fitness from about 9.30 to 10.30 in the morning. Usually I train every day or four days a week, sometimes five, depending on the circumstances, but usually four days a week,” said the actress.

She admitted that she stopped eating breakfast about 20 years ago, simply because she did not feel the need for it. So the first time Berry eats at 2 pm.
“I start my morning with one cup of coffee, use nut milk and sugar substitute. And that’s enough for me until lunch,” said the star of “John Wick”.
Going in for sports, Halle Berry tries to diversify her fitness routine. Sometimes she does yoga, sometimes gymnastics, and sometimes Pilates. The actress is sure that the body gets used to the same exercises, so she constantly tries something new.
Speaking of beauty treatments, the actress says she has always strived to look natural. And so I just began to take care of my skin, my health and go in for sports. She hardly wears any make-up, only putting on make-up for important events.
Halle Berry uses light, moisturizing cosmetics, avoiding those that dry the skin. And almost never wears perfume. She jokes that her kids are against it.
“They always tell me, ‘Mom, this smells awful. We don’t like that you smell like that. You don’t smell like mom. “They are what keep me from wearing a lot of perfume,” the actress jokes. According to her, children simply prefer the smell of cleanliness and soap.
Before going to bed, Halle Berry cleanses and moisturizes the skin. She is interested in new means and often tries something new.

The actress has dinner at 5:30 pm and goes to bed early. And she sometimes allows herself to drink a glass of dry red wine.
“Heart disease is common in my family, and my cardiologist says: “You can drink a glass of natural red wine once a day, it’s good for heart health,” but Holly jokes that drinking even natural wine every day is too much for her. So she allows herself this liberties no more than four times a week.
