The defenders of Ukraine managed to thwart the attempt of the Russians to return to the lost positions.
Fighters of a separate presidential brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky, using drones, repelled the offensive of the Russian army in the eastern direction. They posted a video of the fighting on Facebook.
The 1st company of the 20th Separate Territorial Defense Battalion drove out the invaders from their positions in the eastern part of Ukraine, capturing prisoners and useful trophies. After some time, Russian soldiers tried to beat them back, and a tank went to their aid. Then the operator of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a drone, which accurately dropped a grenade and destroyed the sight of the combat vehicle. Finding themselves without optics, the crew simply turned the tank around and drove back.
“The enemy assault group caught a couple of accurate grenades and fled, and the enemy tank drove back ‘blind.’
Recently they wrote how the fighters of the 74th ORB of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a Russian tank with a kamikaze drone. They were able to find a weak spot in the back of the armored vehicle and disable it with a drone costing about $400, which is highly accurate despite being cheap.
Before that, a video appeared of how Ukrainian kamikaze drones blew up a tank of the Russian Armed Forces, hidden at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. One drone was needed to smash the barricade in the tunnel, and the second hit right on target.
The Russians are already complaining about low-cost UAF drones attacking their tanks. Last week, propagandist Vladlen Tatarov (Maxim Fomin) said that one of the Ukrainian UAVs flew right into an open hatch, after which the equipment completely burned down.
