The former adviser to the Office of the President arrived in Rome on a business visit, reporters report. In Italy, he is to meet with Ukrainian businessmen and pro-Ukrainian lobbyists.
Former adviser to the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestovich flew to Italy, despite the martial law in Ukraine and the closed exit from the country for men. Afisha.it spoke with the military expert after he arrived in Rome.
According to journalists, Arestovich arrived in the Mediterranean state on a business visit at the invitation of the Ukraine Lobby and Business Club. In the capital of Italy, he is to meet with Ukrainian entrepreneurs and pro-Ukrainian lobbyists.

In an interview with the publication, Arestovich called the Italian support for Ukraine “extraordinary.”
“More than we could expect. We are talking, apparently, already about billions of euros,” commented a former representative of the OP.
The military expert also reacted to the recent statement by Silvio Berlusconi that a full-scale invasion of the Russian Armed Forces would not have happened if “the Ukrainian leader had stopped attacks on the Donbass.” Arestovich believes that “each person has his own view of things.”

In his social networks, the ex-advisor himself has not yet commented on his trip to Italy.
Arestovich’s departure during martial law
It is worth noting that, according to Arestovich’s own messages on social networks, he is the father of three children (by law, this gives a male citizen of Ukraine the right to travel outside the state during martial law). However, in an interview with journalist Marichka Dovbenko in November 2022, he mentioned that his eldest daughter Aelita is already 18 years old.
Recall, on January 20, in the Office of the President, in response to a request from the Babel edition, they confirmed that Oleksiy Arestovich is no longer a freelance adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine.
On January 19, Arestovich revealed the details of his dismissal from the OP. The former adviser claims that he did not have a conversation with the president after the scandal regarding the missile attack on the Dnieper. At the same time, he added that he was asked to draw conclusions.
