Journalists conducted an investigation in search of Medvedchuk’s hidden assets and found a figurehead – 62-year-old Olga Kuts. The woman immediately admitted that she did not earn on her millions of assets.
The journalists began to find out which assets of the former People’s Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk have not yet been arrested by law enforcement officers. Registers, documents and agreements led them to Olga Kuts. The woman has been holding shares in several Kyiv companies since 2022. This is discussed in the Bihus.Info investigation.
Olga Kuts is 62 years old and a woman lives in Lvov. She owns a number of companies in the construction industry and makes money on metropolitan real estate. However, all this, as the journalists found out, is only on paper.
The investigator reports that Kuts is the ultimate beneficiary of the Istbud company, which owns almost a hectare of land on Druzhby Narodiv Boulevard. According to Bihus.Info, a hotel and office building is to be built on this land plot, its estimated cost is UAH 160 million.
Also, a businesswoman from Lviv is the beneficiary of the Town Land Company, which ordered the construction of the Poetika residential complex in the center of Kyiv. The journalists said that in addition to the residential complex, a number of unfinished objects were issued to the company.
In addition, Kuts is a co-owner of the Promtek company, which owns more than a hectare of land in Borshchagovka. The media workers found out that this land plot, according to the documents, will be built up with a cultural and entertainment complex.
Companies, the largest shares of which are owned by a woman from Lvov, lead to the construction business of People’s Deputy Vadym Stolar. According to journalists, two former people’s deputies, Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak, acquired a share in his business back in 2020. Their names have not yet appeared among the official partners, however, back in 2020, Kuts became a co-owner.
The coincidence prompted journalists to think about the connection between the businesswoman and Medvedchuk’s entourage. To ask the woman about her assets and connection with ex-people’s deputies came out in a telephone conversation. Olga Kuts admitted that she worked in the company of her brother Kozak and agreed to sign a power of attorney. She immediately admitted that she was not the real owner of her many businesses.
The woman stated that she did not receive funds from the activities of the companies in which she owns shares, and would be happy to give them away. Law enforcement officers did not contact the Lviv woman, so the journalists sent appropriate statements to law enforcement agencies to investigate ghostly assets.
“I’m surprised that none of the things we listed are under arrest. Nobody is interested in Kuts.
Recall, on February 23, the Security Service of Ukraine announced the arrest of the property of the wife of Viktor Medvedchuk, Oksana Marchenko. The woman is suspected of financing Russian occupation groups. The amount of funds seized by the SBU is more than 5.6 billion hryvnias.
Earlier, on January 10, in his video message, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship of former deputies Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak. “If people’s deputies choose to serve not the people of Ukraine, but the murderers, then our actions will be appropriate,” Zelensky said.
