On March 3, the production of the serial version of the updated Lada Vesta NG 2023 model year will start. Official sales of new items, according to preliminary data, will begin in April.
The editors of GT-News.ru prepared a lot of material about the updated Vesta NG, and also collected all the details: the date of the official start of sales, all the changes during restyling, the difference between the Cross-versions and the standard ones, as well as preliminary prices, equipment and video test drive.

Details
Recall that at the beginning of last year, the updated Lada Vesta NG was officially presented, and sales were supposed to begin in the spring of 2022. But after the February events and subsequent consequences, AvtoVAZ faced a shortage of components and it was decided to postpone the launch of restyling to 2023.
However, AvtoVAZ still managed to produce a small batch of new West NGs, which was sold from official dealers last summer. The prices of scarce cars reached 2,500,000 rubles.
In 2023, AvtoVAZ should solve the shortage problem, which means that the cost is expected to be more acceptable.
So, during the restyling, Lada Vesta NG 2023 received an updated exterior design, a seriously modified interior, but the technical stuffing remained the same (and even simplified, because Renault units can no longer be used).
Appearance
The main novelty of the Vesta NG exterior is a modified front end: new optics (for the first time fully LED), bumpers and a radiator grille. Moreover, the design of the Cross version differs from the standard modification, primarily due to the radiator grille (in the Cross it is made in the form of large cells, and in the standard Vesta in the form of horizontal rods).
At the rear, the model has a new trunk lid, narrower optics, a different bumper and two false holes for exhaust pipes.
Interior
The official image of the interior of the updated Vesta.
Last year, at the official presentation of the new Lada Vesta NG 2023, the salon was not declassified, but many photos of the seriously redesigned interior appeared on the Web (and then officially).
It should be noted right away that depending on the trim levels, the interior equipment will be different, the main difference of the top version will be a 10-inch vertical screen of the media system in the form of a tablet (as in the photo above), and the rest of the trim levels will have access to the Enjoy Pro media complex built into the panel with 8 -inch display.
But other innovations are also enough:
New panel Better materials finish New steering wheel Dashboard Buttons on the center console New climate control unit with rotary knobs (with screens inside) like Renault Duster or Arkana.
By the way, the interior of cars of the 2023 model year may be different, because now AvtoVAZ does not cooperate with Renault, so you need to wait for official information. However, the wait was not long at all.
Technical filling: engine and gearbox
The engine range of the updated Vesta NG will consist of standard VAZ units: 1.6 (106 hp) and 1.8 (122 hp), equipped with a manual transmission.
For obvious reasons, the tandem of the Renault engine (113 hp) and the Japanese Jatco variator will no longer exist.
Start sale
According to preliminary data, the official start of sales of the new Lada Vesta NG will begin in April 2023. The start of serial production is March 3rd.
Prices and equipment
The official price list has not yet been declassified, but prices for the pre-reform Vesta start at 1,121,900 rubles for a basic sedan.
From March 1, AvtoVAZ promised to raise the price tag for all cars, according to our estimates, the cost of a restyled Vesta will start at 1,300,000 rubles (the top version is expected to be about 1.8 million rubles).
