On the eve of the stars again took to the red carpet, attending the awards ceremony of the Screen Actors Guild of the United States.
In anticipation of the Oscars, there are numerous film award ceremonies, which are secretly considered “rehearsals” for the main film award of the year.
The Screen Actors Guild Award or SAG Awards has been awarded since 1995 for films and television series. The award is one of the most prestigious in the world of the film industry.
The winners receive bronze statuettes “Actor”. The leaders in the number of awards are the actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who received 9 awards, and Alec Baldwin, who received 8 statuettes.
The 29th ceremony took place at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles and brought together all the stars on the red carpet.
The winners of the award were Michelle Yeoh and Brendan Fraser, who received awards for their leading roles in films.
Jennifer Coolidge also received the award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for her role in the acclaimed White Lotus.
And on the red carpet, the stars gathered in the most luxurious and original outfits. And if at the recent BAFTA ceremony most celebrities preferred black and white, and even Kate Middleton supported this trend, then at the SAG Awards you could see literally all the colors of the rainbow.
It is noteworthy, but if last year there was a hot pink “Barbie” color in the trends, now neon yellow-green has clearly come into fashion.
Focus has collected the top 10 best looks from the SAG Awards red carpet.

Jessica Chastain received the award at the ceremony and was one of the few who stayed true to the most trendy barbie pink color from last season. She completed the look with Gucci earrings, but she decided to refuse the necklace from the set, posing in it only during a make-up session. Apparently, we are in for a trend for massive earrings and the absence of a necklace.

The model and actress chose the classics: a black outfit from Carolina Herrera, consisting of trousers and a puffy dress. Black stilettos, a diamond necklace, slick hair and bright red lipstick – this is what true Hollywood chic looks like. Behind the scenes, Kara was not so serious: she had fun and took selfies with friends.

Zendaya was nominated for her role in the series “Euphoria”, but did not receive the prize. However, this was not so important, because the actress, who is already deservedly considered a style icon, is expected to have new original images. And Zendaya did not disappoint – even the controversial Maison Valentino outfit in pink buds looked perfect on her. She complemented the image with jewelry from the Bulgari brand, of which she is the ambassador. And the actress showed off a new haircut and styling in the spirit of the “Golden Age” of Hollywood.

Another chic outfit from Valentino showed 57-year-old Viola Davis. And chose the most trendy color – bright yellow. The hue compensated for a simple but effective style with a neckline and an almost complete absence of jewelry, because Viola complemented her image only with a massive bracelet and hoop earrings.

Jenna Ortega, although she did not receive an award for her role in the series “Wednesday”, she chose a good image for the red carpet. She paired a black Atelier Versace dress with a plunging neckline with a simple diamond necklace and high-platform sandals, a must-have for every fashion outing. Jenna previously joked in an interview that her superpower is the ability to walk and even run in very high heels and a platform. By the way, it was a vintage outfit from 1994. One of the last dresses created during the life of the legendary Gianni Versace.

Amanda Seyfried relied on chic in the style of a young Catherine Deneuve. The influence of the 1960s was felt in the high-bouffant hairstyle, delicate make-up and the style of the simple but original Prada mini dress. The color, by the way, was unusual for the red carpet, but as it turned out, very suitable. Judging by the number of green dresses, this shade is also in trend. And most importantly, it had pockets, which Amanda showed with pleasure.

Although there were rumors that Anthony Vaccarello sews only for models, but for the finest hour of Jennifer Coolidge, who received another award, he clearly made an exception. The influence of the 1960s was felt here too, and the actress herself, as always, shone on the red carpet, enjoying well-deserved fame. By the way, this year she did not limit herself to one “White Lotus”, appearing in the TV series “The Observer” and the comedy “Breakthrough Wedding”.

Emily Blunt is probably the only one who remembered the former red carpet triumph, the Oscar de la Renta brand, and chose an original red dress with embroidery. But it was not her dress that attracted the most attention, but her husband John Krasinski. The couple literally couldn’t take their eyes off each other.
And although the red carpet usually overshadows the main reason why, in fact, all the celebrities go to them, Focus will still publish the list of SAG Awards winners. It is interesting which of them will then become the owner of the Oscar at the ceremony on March 12.
