British owners of premium Range Rover SUVs are faced with an unexpected problem: insurers refuse to issue policies, and if someone agrees, then at a price 2-4 times higher than the previous one, which is sometimes comparable to how much the car itself costs.
There is also a problem with new cars, since from November 2022 the manufacturer no longer offers branded insurance.

The reason for the shortage of offers is the unwillingness of insurers to take risks, because last year more than 5,000 luxury SUVs were stolen.
Land Rover said they are aware of the problem and are trying to improve theft resistance of cars, but did not name a timeframe for returning their own insurance.
