At London Fashion Week, the automaker surprised with an unusual project.
Digging Mercedes-Benz showed a unique concept car Project Mondo G. The designers took the Moncler down jacket as a basis and tried to make the car look like an inflated jacket. Even the tires were covered with quilted material!
Every detail here has its own meaning: the rough finish symbolizes functionality and practicality, while the perfectly glossy reflective surface refers to the luxury of both companies.
An additional feature was a huge lightning bolt on the roof of the car. According to the authors’ intention, it should be associated with versatility and the ability to adapt to any conditions.
The project has been in development for a year. The weight of the concept was 2.5 tons. The car exists in a single copy and is positioned solely as a show car for demonstration at exhibitions.
