Among the new restrictions are the fight against Russian disinformation and the control of Russia’s export potential.
The European Union has introduced the 10th package of sanctions against Russia. This was reported by the press service of the EU Council.
The new sanctions package tightens export bans on critical technology and manufactured goods: electronics, specialized vehicles, machine parts, truck and jet engine parts, some construction products, and more. Also, for the first time, seven Iranian companies that supply drones to the aggressor country were included in the list of sanctions.
In addition, the suspension of the broadcasting licenses of RT Arabic and Sputnik Arabic is envisaged. Also, the EU Council introduced restrictions on the ability of Russian citizens to hold any positions in the governing bodies of critical infrastructures and organizations of the European Union.
Among personal sanctions:
executive director of MIA Rossiya Segodnya Kirill Vyshinsky; chairman of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov; co-chairman of the ONF Leonid Roshal; Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova; head of the HRC Valery Fadeev; producer Alexander Akopov; member of the HRC and “military commissar” Alexander Kots; member of the HRC and journalist Marina Akhmedova; Putin’s mistress Alina Kabaeva.
Also under the new European sanctions were:
“Alfa Bank”, “Rosbank”, “Tinkoff Bank”, International Information Agency “Russia Today”, Ministry of Emergency Situations “DNR”, Media Group “Patriot”.
The sanctions lists also include separately the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation. In general, 87 individuals and 34 legal entities are included in the new package of EU sanctions.

“Russia must stop this brutal war immediately. The European Union will unwaveringly support Ukraine for as long as it takes and remains unwavering in its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine,” the EU Council said.
Recall that the EU Council agreed on a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation, including the fight against Russian disinformation and the strengthening of export restrictions.
