Even under favorable conditions, electricity can be turned off during repair work.
There may be no more power outages. This was stated on the air of the national telethon by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko, answering a question about the results of consumption measurements in different regions of Ukraine.
However, there is one key factor for this development of events: the absence of new missile strikes on critical infrastructure. Shutdowns are also possible during maintenance work.
According to Galushchenko, the measurements were carried out to check how consumption has changed due to the movement of the population and enterprises, in order to set the correct limits.
In particular, the minister gave an answer to a question about a possible increase in electricity tariffs. Galushchenko noted that it is too early to talk about this, because you need to wait for the end of the heating season.
“However, I am glad that the energy system is now operating in a deficit-free mode, for the third week we have been ensuring the production of electricity in full in accordance with consumption. We have the appropriate reserves and plan to continue to support our energy system in such a way that people do not feel supply restrictions,” — noted German Galushchenko.
