A few weeks ago, Dacia showed its entire range equipped with this famous new grille incorporating the “Link” badge instead of the old coat of arms. The Romanian manufacturer took the opportunity to revise very slightly the style of the front faces of its models, from the Spring to the Duster. But that’s not all: Dacia also took the opportunity to introduce a new color “Kaki Lichen”, a pretty green that would not swear in the catalog of a premium brand. And the Sandero also receives other interesting novelties. Now available from €10,990 in the Essential finish with the small 65 horsepower SCe petrol unit (but still without air conditioning), the Sandero retains the option of a 100 horsepower LPG-compatible unit (from 13,650 €) and a 90 bhp petrol TCe (from €12,300). In its top-of-the-range Expression finish (from €13,100 in the 65 horsepower version), it retains the option of the automatic transmission (in reality a CVT box) with the 90 horsepower engine for €16,000.
For its part, the Stepway version of the Sandero now plays the more refined versions. Offered from €14,600 in the 90 horsepower TCe version (i.e. €2,300 more than the normal Sandero with the same finish, engine and equipment), the Sandero Stepway receives a six-speed manual transmission when the Sandero is content with a five-speed gearbox with the same engines! And the Sandero Stepway also stands out with a richer equipment list. It is entitled to Kaki Lichen at 500€ unlike the “very short” Sandero, but also to a new sunroof charged at 500€. Under the hood, it also differentiates itself by offering the 110 horsepower TCe engine at the top of the range. The bill then climbs to €16,650, which is exactly the same price as the 100 horsepower LPG version.
The Dacia Sandero and its Stepway version have never cost so much as in this fall of 2022. But it must also be recognized that they have progressed both in terms of staffing and style. Will the new aesthetic details allow the model to attract new customers from Renault, Peugeot or even Volkswagen?
Caradisiac, partner of the Paris Motor Show
As in 2018, Caradisiac is once again a partner in 2022 of the Mondial de l’Auto which will take place in Paris from October 17 to 23. The Caradisiac editorial team will thus be relocated to its own stand for the duration of the show to analyze, dissect, photograph and film all the new models. And this will of course also be an opportunity for you to come, as you are used to, to meet our journalists. Which new or used car to buy? They will answer all your questions. Until then, we will give you on Caradisiac all the information that we could have obtained from the manufacturers on their new models.
