The Italians from Laika are enriching their range this year, with the arrival of the Laika Kreos L 5009: a new premium profiled motorhome with a neat style.
Laika is an Italian manufacturer founded in 1964, with the launch of a caravan: the Laika 500, which bore this name because it was so small that it could be towed by a Fiat 500! Today, the company specializes in compact, overcabed, low-profile and integral motorhomes, not to mention campervans, and in 2000 joined the German group Erwin Hymer.
This year, Laika is reviewing its range with the arrival of a new premium profiled model: the Kreos L 5009, based on a Fiat Ducato forwarder on an AL-KO Heavy chassis, and fitted with a 140 horsepower 2.2-liter Diesel engine (160 and 180 horsepower versions are available as an option). It is distinguished by a neat style, with an optimized profile cap for perfect integration, as well as reinforced insulation for high level thermal comfort.
Laika Kreos L 5009: up to 7 people on board
With a length of 7.99 meters, the Kreos L 5009 is equipped with two twin beds (80 x 200 cm) as standard at the rear, which can be supplemented by a double sleeping pavilion (140 x 190 cm), optional. The bedroom rests on a generous hold (218 × 129 × 124.8 cm), accessible through two doors and which can be fitted with a small wine cellar!
The atmosphere on board is warm and colorful, with a successful combination of wood veneers, clear Corian (a composite material) surfaces, gray fabrics and blue wall applications. Up front, the swivel seats associated with the bench seats, organized around a round table, will accommodate up to seven people on board!
Depending on the options and packs chosen, the kitchen area can be equipped with a three-burner gas stove, an oven, a dishwasher, as well as a 160-liter refrigerator, not to mention a double sink with tap with flexible arm. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. The water tanks are 210 liters (clean water) and 150 liters (waste water).
