Voyah is a young Dongfeng sub-brand that has been entrusted with producing premium cars. The first-born of the brand is the Free electric car.
Externally, Voyah Free will not surprise with daring design finds: the electric car gets a dynamic silhouette with a sloping roofline, embossed stampings on the sides and original optics. The radiator grille has tried on the visual effect of a “falling waterfall”, which is traditional for Chinese cars.
The taillights are connected by a wide LED strip, another design element popular in the Chinese car industry. The car interior is also devoid of pretentiousness, but at the same time it is interesting both in terms of design and technical equipment. Everything here is as modern and ergonomic as possible, and the central place belongs to three screens, one of which is a multimedia touchscreen. This display can change position depending on the selected driving mode.
The basic electric car gets a 347-horsepower electric motor, and its power reserve reaches 505 kilometers. The middle configuration is twin-engine with 694 hp. Such an electrocross will accelerate to a hundred in 4.8 seconds, and its maximum speed was limited to 200 km / h.
Without recharging, the electric car will travel up to 475 kilometers. The top Voyah Free additionally receives a 109-horsepower Dongfeng C15TDR gasoline engine with a liter and a half.
It is not directly connected to the wheels: its task is to recharge the electric motors. The range of such an electric car grows to 860 kilometers.
