Photo spies managed to take a series of pictures of the new Volkswagen Tiguan. And not in the standard version, but in the extended one. In China, the new product will receive the prefix L Pro in its name.
It is known that the L Pro version reaches a length of 4735 mm, which is 110 mm longer than the five-seater version. Its wheelbase is 2791 mm, and its width and height are 1859 and 1682 mm, respectively. It is worth noting that the spotted example is a “charged” R-Line. It features an aggressive front end design and a massive body kit. The “R” logo on the grille and the specially designed wheels also attract attention.
The spies also looked into the interior of the extended Tiguan. The overall design of the R-Line version emphasizes sportiness and avant-gardeness. In addition to the digital dashboard and large multimedia screen, the equipment also includes a separate one for the front passenger.
It is expected that the new product will be offered on the Chinese market with a 1.5-liter engine producing 150 hp. and a 2.0-liter engine with 220 hp. The engine range in other markets where the crossover may be called Allspace may differ from that indicated. The seven-seater Tiguan will be presented at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year.
