OMV buys gas stations Benzinol. The store, which we reported on some time ago, was officially announced today. It is a takeover of 21 gas stations with an option for another 6. The completion of the transaction is expected in the second quarter of 2024, when it will be finally approved by the Anti-Monopoly Office of the Slovak Republic. It seems like it should just be a formality. Until now, OMV had the second largest network of gas stations in Slovakia with 105 locations. With the inclusion of Benzinol, the market position of number two will be further strengthened and the number of blue-green pumps will jump to 126. In the near future, the taken over pumps will be rebranded and then reconstructed so that they meet the high standards of OMV.
