The new season of Formula 1 has officially started. Max Verstappen took an emphatic victory under the lights of the Bahrain circuit and Red Bull collected the maximum possible points, with the Dutch champion taking, in addition to the victory, the additional point of fastest lap, and Sergio Perez to finish second.
They were finished behind Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, giving Ferrari a total of 27 points. After the end of the first race, the Italian team is 17 points behind the first, Red Bull. A third force appears to be Mercedes, with George Russell and Lewis Hamilton to come fourth and sixth, respectively.
