The RS6 Avant GT Edition is a more driver-focused version of the regular RS6 Avant, offering better performance and sharper handling.
The Audi RS6 Avant is a model that perfectly honors the German company's values in terms of performance sports cars. With -traditionally- station wagon body, under its distinctive mantle, offers explosive performance and road behavior that fascinates.
Her friends Audi and not only do they know it well, but there are always the most demanding, who want even more. For them and perhaps to prove how much higher it can go, Audi created one special edition RS6 Avant GT.
It has separate elements, outside and inside. Aesthetically, it stands out for the special paintwith racing origins, from the Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO, the big one aerofoil on the back and the diffuserthe young wheels special design, 22 inchesthe carbon fiber hood, to reduce weight and the new, adjustable suspension.
They are also redesigned wingsfor better management of it air, in order to improve brake cooling. In the interior, sports dominate seatshigh quality and the new color combinations.
The adjustable coilover suspension is specially developed for this version of the RS6 Avant GT. They lower the car vs 10 mm compared to the simple RS6 Avant and promise an ideal balance between comfort and road characteristics.
The anti-roll bar is 30% tighter at the front, and 80% tighter at the rear, drastically reducing body roll. The nice details include tools that come with the car to adjust the suspension according to your needs.
The beautiful wheels 22 inches they are dressed in rubber 285/30 Continental Sport Contact 7which provide high adhesion in dynamic driving. As the manufacturing company emphasizes, they offer appreciable grip, on dry and wet road surfaces, reducing any understeer tendencies that may occur at high cornering speeds. In addition, the distance braking is two meters shorter, in terms of immobilization than the 100 km/h.
Under the hood is the familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. For the occasion it works 630 hp and 850 Nm of torque, i.e. 30 hp more and 50 Nm more than the simple RS6 Avant.
Thus, it completes the typical 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.3 seconds, i.e. 0.3 sec. faster than the regular RS6 Avant, doing 0-200km/h in 11.5 min. (0.5 sec. faster), while dynamically accelerating up to 305 km/h of maximum speed. They take care of braking ceramic discs high durability.
Power passes through one automatic gear box Tiptronic, 8-speed on all four wheels. The upgraded ones differently they divide the force between the front and rear axles, in percentage 40:60. In special conditions, the system can send up to 70% of the power to the front wheels or 85% to the rear, depending on the situation. The center differential is tuned to promote sporty handling.
The Audi RS6 Avant GT will be a limited edition version, just 660 copieswith the announced price starting at 219,355 euros. The first deliveries are expected to start in second quarter of 2024.
