It is now also available for the 13 Regions of the country the online service for the removal of withholding of ownership of a passenger or two-wheeled vehicle for private use, through gov.gr. The new service concerns the cases of vehicles where the transfer of ownership had taken place in the context of pre-agreed partial payment of the consideration (installments) and now the full price due has been paid.
It is a new service that significantly facilitates the daily life of citizens, upgrading at the same time the transparency of the relevant process. Now citizens can apply to the Transport and Communications Services of the Regional Units of the country, the removal of the withholding of ownership of a passenger car or motorcycle for private use (I.X), which arose in the context of a pre-agreed partial payment of the consideration (installments) between the contracting parties, or between individuals, or between individuals and a Legal Entity.
Citizens can find the new service:

They connect with them Taxisnet codes and register, in addition to the necessary details of the application, the unique verification identifier of the Responsible Declaration, through gov.gr, of the retainer or upload a certificate of will for subsequent transfer of ownership. If there are co-owners of the vehicle, they are registered unique verification identifiers of the Responsible Declarations, through gov.gr, of each co-owner through which he consents to the submission of the application.
When receiving the new registration license it must be presented the previous original marketing authorization at the address of the District to which the application was made. Citizens also have the option to authorize their representativeto receive the new license.
The new service further contributes to the digital transformation of the transport sector and adds to a set of over 20 digital services implemented from the two ministries. For these services he needed the public data registers to “talk” to each other with over 25 interoperability through web services.
They are services that are completed by every citizen in a few minutes and have been used by more than 1,000,000 citizens. In addition, with the digitization of all these processes, administrative burdens are drastically reduced in 59 Transport Directorates that employ more from 700 employees in the 13 Regions of the countrysaving valuable resources and working hours for the benefit of citizens, but also of the public sector.
