With eight war machines in the WRC1 category, twenty-four in the WRC2, three in the WRC3 and thirty-five in the other classes, the curtain of the World Rally Championship for 2024 officially opens with the iconic Monte Carlo Rally, which will take place in its 92nd edition from January 25 to 28.

The latter will lead to Monte Carlo o Andreas Mikkelsen, which this year… moves up a class, further strengthening the potential of the Alzenau-based team, alongside Esapekka Lappi and Dani Sordo, with whom the Norwegian will share the third car of the Korats in 2024.
Her colors M-Sport Ford WRT will be represented by Adrien Fourmaux and Gregoire Munster, who will be behind the wheel of two Puma Rally1 Hybrids both in Monte Carlo and in the remaining races of the institution for 2024.
WRC: The battle in the class WRC2
If nothing else, the big news ahead of the first race of the year in the immediately smallest category is the premiere of the new GR Yaris Rally2 (read more (here). And even in… quadruple, with them Sami Pajari, Stephane Lefebvre, Bryan Bouffier and Jan Solans to take a position behind the helms of the Japanese “hatch”.

The first violin of the armada of Fabia RS Rally2 will represent Skoda – in Toksport WRT colors, for the occasion – in Monte Carlo, the Oliver Solberg.
The 24 total participations in the WRC2 category are completed in the first race of the year eleven still crews with Skoda Fabia, two with Ford Fiesta, two with Hyundai i20 N and two with VW Polo GTI.
