Chocolate fondant with berry sauce is a delicious and, at the same time, easy-to-prepare dessert that is ideal for your New Year’s table. This dessert goes well with champagne or light dessert wines, writes UNIAN.
Ingredients
For fondant:
- dark chocolate – 100 g;
- butter – 100 g;
- sugar – 1/2 cup;
- eggs – 3 pieces;
- flour – 3 tablespoons.
For the berry sauce:
- fresh or frozen berries (raspberries, strawberries, currants) – 200 g;
- sugar – 2 tablespoons;
- water – 50 ml.
Preparation
Step 1: Melt dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave.
Step 2. Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy. Gently fold the chocolate-butter mixture into the egg mixture.
Step 3. Add flour and stir until smooth.
Step 4: Pour the batter into pre-greased muffin tins.
Step 5: Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes.
At the same time, prepare the berry sauce: cook the berries with sugar and water over low heat until it becomes a sauce.
