JSC “Vezdekhod GVA” is an outstanding name. Their most famous brainchild is the Blue Bird, an all-terrain vehicle complex for rescuing astronauts. But there were also smaller projects, where the accumulated potential could be more than realized.
One of these is the modification of all-wheel drive trucks developed at ZIL, which we have already talked about. The experimental chassis had an increased wheelbase – up to 4800 mm.
Several cargo and – even more interestingly – several passenger versions were designed.
