The new version, which will become the main one, will be presented in two years.
Porsche will introduce the all-electric Cayenne in late 2025 or early 2026. Although the model should be updated during this year, the electric version will be built on a different platform.
The “trolley” called SSP Sport was developed by Porsche itself. According to unofficial data, the power plant of the electric Cayenne will produce more than 600 hp, and the battery capacity will exceed 100 kilowatt-hours, which will achieve a range of about 482 km on the EPA cycle.
The Cayenne will be the third Porsche model to go electric. The Macan is expected in 2024, and the 718 in 2025. By 2030, the company wants to achieve a share of electric vehicles of more than 80% of new cars sold, that is, these versions will become the main ones.
