More than a third of Russians polled say the war has not affected their lives in any way, according to the Russian Field research group. 64% of respondents also would not cancel the invasion of Ukraine in the past.
80% of Russians support the current policy of their country, including in relation to Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of the opinion poll of the Russian Field group, published on March 15.
The researchers found that most Russians believe that the military aggression of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine did not affect their lives in any way (37%). Mostly men (40%) and citizens over 60 (44%) think so.

Some respondents stated that the war had an impact on their level of material well-being (22%). The same number of people in Russia noted the impact of the war on the mental state.
Among those who believe that the Russian-Ukrainian war has not affected their lives, 80% support the current policy of their country, and 64% would not cancel a full-scale invasion of the Russian Armed Forces into Ukraine.

Of those Russians who felt the material consequences of the war in Ukraine, 56% support the start of peace talks, and 52% would not mind canceling the events of February 24 last year.
Among those who felt the impact of the war on their mental health, 72% are women and 37% are elderly people. 44% of Russians in this category would like to cancel the outbreak of war in Ukraine, 41% hold opposing views, and 50% want to switch to diplomacy.
The organization’s website states that the information was collected through a telephone survey from January 31 to February 6, 2023. The sample size is 2000 respondents.
