Ukrainian parliamentarians recognized the actions of the Kremlin as misanthropic. The occupiers are aggressively spreading the ideas of the “Russian world” and prohibiting everything Ukrainian in the temporarily occupied territories, the legislators emphasize.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine proposed to define the political regime in Russia with the word “ra***zm”. The corresponding draft resolution No. 9101 appeared on the website of the Parliament on March 13.
The document condemns the ideological foundations of the regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin and recognizes it as totalitarian and misanthropic.
People’s deputies instructed Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk to apply to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Ministry of Justice and other departments with a request to immediately identify and take measures to respond to manifestations of the ideology and politics of ra***zma in Ukraine.
Stefanchuk must ensure that the text of the resolution is sent to the UN, PACE, OSCE, the European Parliament and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, governments and parliaments of other countries.
Note that Wikipedia has an article about “ra***zm”. The authors call this term a description of the ideology, social practices and regime of post-Soviet Russia.
“Ra***zm” emphasizes the aggressive nature of the political system, expansionist foreign policy, ultranationalism, the cult of personality and chauvinism. This term is not scientific. It is usually used to give an assessment of the right-wing ideology that underlies the Putin regime.
The Great War in Ukraine Revealed the Essence of Putin’s Regime
The explanatory note to the Rada’s resolution states that Russia’s brutal war with Ukraine showed the world the real essence of the Putin regime as a neo-imperial, totalitarian dictatorship that imitates the worst practices of the past and embodies the ideas of fascism and national socialism.
The ideas of Russian nationalism formed the basis of state ideology, Moscow has been engaged in violent oppression and denial of the right to self-determination of other peoples for many years, the parliamentarians said.
The occupiers aggressively spread the ideas of the “Russian world” in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and completely ban everything Ukrainian there, the legislators added.
“The result of the implementation of this concept is a war against sovereign Ukraine and the genocide of the Ukrainian people. The Putin regime seeks to spread this ideology and practices to other peoples, not limited to the territory and citizens of Russia,” the deputies concluded.
Recall that on February 23, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, spoke about the possible collapse of the Putin regime. According to him, the world does not need Russia, which threatens everyone.
On November 23 last, the European Parliament recognized Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. MEPs emphasized the atrocities of the RF Armed Forces in Bucha, Irpen, Izyum, Liman and other Ukrainian cities.
