The Jetour X90 crossover debuted in its native China in 2019, and in 2021 it underwent restyling, in size (length – 4840 mm) it is a competitor to Toyota Highlander or Kia Sorento Prime.

Detailed overview
The X90 will be the second model after Dashing to enter the Russian market under the Jetour brand. This is a larger crossover, its length of 4.8 meters allows you to put a third row of passenger seats in the cabin.
This car has been produced in China since 2019, and already in 2021 it received its first restyling package, with which it went on sale under the name X90 Plus. Perhaps, in its updated form, it will also appear before the Russian public.
In its very first performance, this model had all the attributes of an inexpensive large crossover: despite the almost five-meter length, the car was equipped with a 1.5-liter engine and had a beam on the rear suspension. But by the time of the first modernization, a multi-link appeared at the rear, and the range of engines was expanded.
In addition, a Plus version appeared with a more modern exterior design, and immediately after it, the X95 – a car with its original body kit and a touch panel for adjusting the “climate” in the cabin.
External design
Jetour X90 2023 is not similar to the “stylish-youthful” Dashing, neither externally nor internally. The design of the car strongly echoes the exterior of Chery crossovers, but has its own signature grille. Thanks to its chrome trim and the equally bright stripe that runs over it and the headlights, the entire front looks very “smart”.
This design also fits well with all the head lighting equipment, which, due to small point modules, takes on the form of a “garland”. An interesting solution was also the placement of the taillights entirely on the tailgate, and this is retained on the initial X90, and on the X90 Plus / X95, which use modified blocks with a connecting jumper.
Salon
The current version of the X90 crossover has a new interior architecture. The tidy display and multimedia connected and ended up under a single large visor. A little lower is a place for wireless charging of a smartphone and a transmission control unit with a small lever.
The Plus and X95 versions differ in the shape of the air vents, the design of the climate control panel, and so on, and which option will appear on cars destined for the Russian market is a big question. At the same time, the X90 remains a three-row crossover, where the maximum performance will include a panoramic roof, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise and a host of other options.
Technical stuffing and characteristics
According to preliminary data, front-wheel drive Jetour X90 cars with 2.0-liter units with a capacity of 249 hp will be delivered in Russia. With. and “robot” 7DCT. The choice is surprising, as cheaper versions with 1.5-liter TCIs with 156 hp are presented in China. With. (6MKPP) and 1.6-liter TGDI with 197 liters. with., working in tandem with the “automatic”. Probably, the Chinese plan to sell this model only in expensive trim levels, as indicated by the announced prices.
Prices and start of sales
Representatives of the dealer are hinting that the X90 will cost the Russian buyer approximately 4 million rubles. This may mean “top-end” equipment, since in their homeland the same crossover, but in the initial configuration, costs only 139.9-172.9 thousand yuan or 1.52-1.87 million rubles. Answers will not wait long: the first deliveries of such machines may take place in the coming April.
