The military man is convinced that there is a significant difference between Ukrainians and Russians – in case of difficulties, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not run away, but will defend the city to the last.
In the battle-stricken Bakhmut, the situation with the city of Debaltseve, which was cut off from all supply chains, may repeat itself. This was announced on March 12 by the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Denis Yaroslavsky on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
According to him, there is a possibility that the fate of Debaltseve will be repeated in this city in Donbass. There, after a series of battles, all routes were cut off, and the withdrawal of troops could even endanger the entire column.
“Now in Bakhmut there are battles directly on the streets. There are shooting battles for every lane. In a week and a half, the enemy managed to move 1.5 km deep into Bakhmut from Yagodny. It is difficult to hold every house, every private sector. the so-called operational pocket is just over 4 km. We understand that there may be a repetition of Debaltseve,” Denis Yaroslavsky said.
The military man noted that today the Russian invaders are shelling absolutely all the ways to secure Bakhmut and the enemy is trying to finally cut off the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If this happens, then there will be neither rotation nor the supply of ammunition, and the Russians, continuing the assaults, understand this.
But there is still a significant difference between Ukrainians and Russians, and Denis Yaroslavsky spoke about it.
“Our difference from the Russians, when we took some places into the operational environment during the counteroffensive, the Russians abandoned everything and fled. We are standing – this is our spirit. Also now, near Bakhmut, the Russians are burning the bodies of the Wagner PMC. It is a decision to bury them there,” the soldier said.
Recall that in a report for March 11, ISW analysts argued that there was no evidence that Wagner PMC fighters advanced in Bakhmut. The researchers note that the Russian military and Wagner PMC mercenaries continued to storm Bakhmut, but did not make any declared advances within the city and its environs during the day.
On March 10, fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the invaders were gathering civilians and taking them out of Bakhmut in an unknown direction.
