The Ministry of Industry and Trade is confident that in 2023 car sales in Russia will grow compared to last year. And this is despite the fact that “the automotive industry is one of those that suffered in terms of volume due to the challenges that have arisen in the economy as a whole,” said Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
“Given the forecasts, the current situation and external sanctions pressure, and even taking into account the fact that the first quarter of last year, enterprises were operating at full capacity, by the end of this year we expect to increase the figures of the past,” Karimov said.
