Meghan Markle has been spotted for the first time since it was confirmed that her and Prince Harry’s children would be known as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Meghan Markle joined friends for a West Hollywood brunch to mark International Women’s Day, just hours after Archie and Lilibet were crowned prince and princess. The Mirror writes about it.
The Sussexes’ statement refers to the 21-month-old as ‘Princess Lilibet Diana’, showing for the first time that the couple decided to exercise their right to use the title of princess for Lilibet six months after King Charles’s accession to the throne last September. Baby Archie, respectively, will now be called the prince.
Smiling, Meghan, dressed all in black, wearing dark sunglasses, white slip-on shoes and carrying a black and white handbag, was spotted leaving the Gracias Madre restaurant in West Hollywood.
It was confirmed on the Archewell Foundation’s website that Meghan yesterday visited Harvest Home, a charity that helps provide housing and mental wellness support to mothers-to-be who are dealing with issues such as domestic violence, drug use and homelessness.
Meghan and the organization set up a children’s boutique, hosted a luncheon, and donated to charity.
Earlier it became known, but Harry and Meghan were asked to leave their British home Frogmore Cottage.
But they were allowed to stay there if they did come to the coronation of Charles. They confirmed that they had received an invitation. But they did not say whether they would arrive in the UK in May.
