The head of the Hungarian government believes that European countries are not interested in a peaceful settlement of hostilities in Ukraine. Orban said that only Hungary, the Vatican, Turkey and China want “real” peace in our country.
European allies of Ukraine can seriously discuss sending their military to Ukraine. This statement was made by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in an interview, according to the Hungarian edition of Telex.
“The West is very close to seriously discussing the prospect of sending its forces to Ukraine,” Orban said.
According to him, European countries (such as Germany) started by sending helmets, and now they are sending tanks – and they are thinking about sending fighter jets.
“If we follow this logic of escalation, at some point the Ukrainian border may well begin to cross the manpower from among the allied countries of Ukraine,” the head of the Hungarian government added.
The politician stressed that the world has never been so close to the local war between the two countries escalating into World War III.
The head of the Hungarian government also believes that of all the countries of the world, Hungary, the Vatican, Turkey and China “really” want Ukraine.
Recall that a little earlier, Viktor Orban did not rule out the start of a new world war over Ukraine. According to him, the increase in military assistance and the sending of soldiers by allies to Ukraine can only lead to an escalation of the conflict. Orban also believes that the West is interested in continuing the fighting.
A day earlier, on March 9, the Pentagon announced that Ukraine was becoming a “combat laboratory” for testing Iranian weapons. The US Department of Defense said that Russia is ready to transfer advanced technologies to Iran in order to receive Iranian “lethal assistance”.
