Guardians, family-type orphanages, foster families and other socially unprotected categories can apply for help from a charitable foundation.
Since March 2023, the SOS “Children’s Mistechka” Charitable Foundation has resumed accepting applications for the payment of UAH 6,600,000 in financial assistance for families with children among foster families, family-type orphanages and foster families in which at least one orphan or child is being brought up who is deprived of parental care. This is stated on the Foundation’s website.
It is known that the program covers 12 regions of Ukraine, namely:
Kyiv; Zhytomyr; Chernihiv; Sumy; Kharkov: Lugansk; Donetsk; Zaporozhye; Kherson; Nikolaev; Odessa; Dnipropetrovsk.
How to apply?
According to the rules of the fund, one family is allowed to send only one application (1 person per family is registered). Families who have already participated in the program cannot receive assistance again. Applications are accepted until March 31, 2023.

What documents are needed to apply for assistance?
A copy of the applicant’s passport; A copy of the applicant’s identification code; A copy of the IDP certificate (if available); A copy of the decision to create a PS / DBST, for guardianship – the decision of the guardianship / guardianship / court; A copy of the children’s birth certificate; A copy of a bank statement or bank application with details applicant’s card (IBAN number).
It is reported that a citizen who has been registered and is applying for financial assistance will also need to write an application and consent to the collection and processing of their personal data and data of children by the fund. The originals of the application and consent must be sent to the address of the organization by Nova Poshta.
The payment is accrued only after the fund receives the original application and consent to the processing of personal data from the applicant. Payments of UAH 2.2 thousand will take place within three months once a month. That is, in three months the family will receive 6,600 hryvnia.
By the way, since January 9, the UN International Organization has resumed the work of the registration points of the Right to Protection charity fund, which collect data for the payment of assistance to vulnerable categories of Ukrainians. People affected by military aggression can apply for financial assistance in the amount of up to UAH 6,600 per person.
Focus also reported that families in Cherkasy whose children were born on January 1, 2023 will be paid UAH 25,000 in one-time financial assistance.
