Local media reported that the detainee’s wife wrote a statement about his abduction. The police explained the detention by the disobedience of the man and suspicious pills.
Yesterday, March 7, in Odessa, a man was severely detained in the middle of the street. Eyewitnesses filmed how police officers twisted a passerby. This is known from the local media “Dumskaya”.
It was previously reported that the man liable for military service refused to take the summons, for which he was detained. According to journalists, the wife of the 42-year-old detainee wrote a statement about the kidnapping, and it was even entered into the register.

However, today, March 8, the situation was explained in the Patrol Police of the Odessa region. The press service published a photo of the detainee and revealed the details of the incident. It turned out that the servicemen really tried to issue a summons to the man. The citizen entered into a conflict with them, after which a call was received to the hotline 102. Law enforcement officers arrived on a call and detained the man for aggressive behavior.
“At the request of the police to stop violating the law, the man did not react and continued to provoke a conflict. To appease the violator, the security guards used physical force and a special tool – handcuffs. Also, during a superficial check on the violator, the patrolmen found pills, according to the detainee, of narcotic origin “, the police explained.

The detained man can now be held liable before the law for possession of narcotic drugs, petty hooliganism and disobedience to law enforcement officers. In addition, military personnel also filed materials against him.
Recall that this is not the first case of cruel detention during the delivery of a summons in Odessa. On January 22, residents of Odessa filmed how men in camouflage were thrown to the ground and, after several blows, dragged a civilian into a bus. The Odessa Regional Center for Recruitment and Social Protection claimed responsibility for the incident and promised to conduct an internal audit. The detention of the man was explained by the fact that he insulted the military.
Also on March 8, a Russian agent was detained in Odessa, who was helping the RF Armed Forces to correct strikes on critical infrastructure facilities. The press service of the SBU reported that after the shelling, the man went to assess the consequences and asked for repeated strikes if “necessary.” In the published screenshots of his correspondence, the detainee rejoices in the hits.
