As a result of the collision of military aircraft during the exercises, two pilots were killed: Lieutenant Colonel Daniele Cipriano and Major Marco Menegello.
On Tuesday, March 7, in the municipality of Guidonia Montelelio, near Rome, two Air Force aircraft collided during an exercise. Reported by Corriere della Sera.
The plane crashed Siai Marchetti S-208. Around noon, the aircraft collided during a training flight. One fell on the lawn, the second on a parked car between houses.

The pilots – Lieutenant Colonel Daniele Cipriano and Major Marco Menegello – died instantly.
The remaining two aircraft that took part in the maneuvers landed safely.
Prime Minister Georgia Meloni has already expressed condolences to the families of the victims. And the Tivoli prosecutor’s office launched an investigation. It should establish the causes of the plane crash, during which people died.
Recall that on February 26, a boat with migrants sank in Italy. According to BBC journalists, on board the boat, which sailed from Turkey a few days earlier, were migrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria, Iraq and Iran.
