According to Petr Andryushchenko, the occupiers draw white triangles on the last columns of equipment of the RF Armed Forces. Previously, such marks were not noticed, and most of the cars were designated by the Russians with the letter “V”.
The RF Armed Forces use a new mark for their equipment. It looks like the letter “Z” in a triangle. This was announced in social networks by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko.
“We fix the use of new occupant marks in the last columns. A triangle on top of the “Z”. Before that, most of the columns had a “V” mark or no marks at all. The circle in the triangle has not been observed since the beginning of winter,” Andryushchenko wrote.
A photo released by the official shows a white-painted triangle over the “Z” in a square.

According to the explanations from the General Staff, the letters on the enemy equipment mean the region from which the occupiers are attacking. The “Z” in a square, for example, is a symbol of Russian forces from Crimea.
