John Kirby, coordinator of the US National Security Council for strategic communications at the White House, said that the presidential administration considers it necessary to further support Ukraine, since if it is stopped, American blood will be shed. Earlier, on March 4, John Kirby also warned China against supplying weapons to the Russian Federation. According to him, the PRC has yet to make a choice, but the provision of military assistance to the Russian Federation does not meet the interests of Beijing.
At a press conference on March 2, John Kirby also announced the provision of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine. It is reported that the package will include the ammunition needed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the systems they already have.
