Russian politician Dmitry Medvedev called the Germans “Fritz”, and Ukraine “Little Russia”. According to him, the statement of the head of Rheinmetall is “trolling of the Kyiv regime.”
The former Prime Minister of Russia commented on the statement of the head of the German arms concern Rheinmetall, Armin Papperger, that negotiations are underway with the Ukrainian government on the construction of a tank plant in Ukraine. According to him, such an event will be “marked with salutes from Caliber and other pyrotechnic devices.” He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
Medvedev called Ukraine “Little Russia” and said that the news from the head of Rheinmetall is “trolling of the Kyiv regime.”
“If, nevertheless, the Fritz decide to build for real (although they seem to be pragmatic people), we look forward to it. This event will be duly marked by salutes from Caliber and other pyrotechnic devices,” the Russian politician wrote.
Recall, on March 4, Armin Papperger announced that his company could build a plant in Ukraine for the production of modern Panther KF51 battle tanks. It is assumed that the company could produce up to 400 units of these tanks. Papperger said defense against Russian shelling “won’t be difficult.”
On February 9, it became known that Ukraine could receive the Panther KF51. Our country will become the first buyer of the latest combat vehicles, which are designed to “change the rules of the game on the battlefields of the future.”
