Drones with thermal imagers accurately dropped shells, setting Russian vehicles on fire on the front lines.
On the night of March 3-4, the operators of the Alfa Special Operations Center destroyed eight units of Russian equipment at once using drones. The Security Service of Ukraine presented a video report on their work on their Facebook page.
Special Forces of the SBU arranged a traditional night hunt for the forces of the RF Armed Forces on the front line. They launched drones with thermal imagers and powerful armor-piercing munitions. In one night, the Alpha Center hit 5 tanks, 2 infantry fighting vehicles and one truck with ammunition with drones.
In the published video, you can watch how the drones hover over the military equipment of the RF Armed Forces and drop projectiles exactly on targets. The impacts are accompanied by strong explosions, after which the cars remain on fire. Some tanks had to spend several ammo, but the result is worth it.
“Spring has come – Russian technology is burning even brighter,” the press service of the SBU said.
Earlier they wrote that on the night of March 2, the Special Operations Center “A” with the help of drones knocked out six Russian tanks in the Luhansk direction. As the SBU assures, all the affected equipment is disabled.
In January, a video appeared showing how the SBU used a drone to destroy a Russian infantry fighting vehicle along with the military. A kamikaze UAV, controlled by an operator from the Alfa Center, tracked down the invaders and struck when enemy soldiers were smoking next to the equipment.
In October 2022, SBU counterintelligence officers blew up the Russian Silo-01 electronic warfare system using a drone. The latest technology failed to protect itself from two bombs that the UAV dropped directly over the antenna.
