On March 3, 2023, the production of updated Lada Vesta cars started at the AVTOVAZ production site in Togliatti.
This event was long awaited: production was not only transferred to a new site (from Izhevsk to Tolyatti), but they also began to produce a highly localized car – in total it is more than 4500 points (according to Decree No. 719), which is much more than in any new passenger car, the assembly of which was organized in Russia last year.

The engine, gearbox, bodywork, chassis parts, seats and other interior elements – a total of more than 200 parts and assemblies are now produced in Russia.
In addition, deliveries to AVTOVAZ are also carried out by new partners from friendly countries.
Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Azarov, Governor of the Samara Region, and Maxim Sokolov, President of AvtoVAZ, took part in the solemn event dedicated to the roll-off of the first mass-produced car.
